The High Life

We went to a party at my husband's cousin's house. They have a beautiful big house in Wayne nonetheless. Must be nice! That is a distant pipe dream for me. I may (okay probably won't) ever get that rich but I just want to get in a much better situation. The problem is things I need credit cards for. Here are some things I always seem to need credit cards for:
1.) Gas ($50 in cash a week would eat a lot of my paycheck)
2.) Groceries (see above)
3.) Supplies/things for the house/medicine
4.) Anything online.

There is no way around gas. I need to it get to my jobs. As for groceries there are at least ways to cut down. Sticking to a list helps.

  1. You should check out Bottom Dollar near you. I wasn't able to do all my grocery shopping there but I was able to save money on some things that I normally buy. Buying meat in bulk when it's on sale helps, along with trying to make a few larger meals ahead of time. With gas, try to plan your trips ahead of time so you don't have to head out so many times. I don't always stick to the suggestions above but when I do they do help.
